Takashi`s Dairy - week 23

Hello! I`m Takashi, a salaryman. Each week I regurgitate the same tired old jokes... I mean, I write my diary. Here`s what happened last week!

Monday: wake up at 5:30am. Train at 6:30. Start work at 8:00. Finish work at 9:00 (pm, not am - actually, that one is a bit tired now). Drinking until 11:50. Last train at midnight. In bed at 1:15am.

Tuesday: wake up at 5:30am. Train at 6:30. Start work at 8:00. Receive startling suggestive email at 11:13. Don`t know address: salutation is `My Hot Dog`, signature `Your Honey Bun`. Drop cellphone in alarm at 11:14. Finish at 9:00 (pm, not am, yawn). Drinking until 11:50. Last train at midnight. In bed at 1:15am.

Wednesday: wake up, train, work, finish, drinking, home; but, Mrs Noguchi`s curtains are open! Watch through telescope until Mr Noguchi comes home at 2:32 (am, not pm, a new twist, ha ha). Why is he always out so late? In bed at 2:35.

Thursday: wake up at 5:30am. Train at 6:30. Genki-drink at 7:59. Start work at 8:00. Receive stomach-turning graphic email at 11:21 from my `Honey Bun`. Unable to concentrate due to vivid horrible mental images. Reprimand from Yoshinaga-san at 3:54; give him a middle-finger salute when he turns away. Finish at 9:00 (pm, not am). Drinking until 11:50. Last train at midnight. In bed at 1:15am.

Friday: wake up in convulsions at 4:46am. The dream! Not only staplers and filing-cabinets, but hot dogs and buns... what must I do to be free of my hideous past?! Train at 6:30. Start work at 8:00. Finish at 9:00 (pm, not am). Drinking until 11:50. Last train at midnight. In bed at 1:15am.

Saturday: wake up at 10:30am. Train at 11:00. Start work at 12:00. Find envelope containing a highly explicit photograph from the love hotel in which I found myself after returning from the future (see weeks 21 and 22). What`s going on? Finish at 10:00 (pm, not am). Drinking until 11:50. Last train at midnight. In bed at 1:15am.

Sunday: sleeping fitfully, uneasily, uneasily.

What a strange old week! Who is `Honey Bun`? How did I come by the epithet `Hot Dog`? Though the emails and photograph give me some idea... Takashi of the future has a lot to answer for. Read more next time!
