I do editing and proofreading of Japanese company's and individual's written English too.

I teach adults in Australia how to travel Japan on a budget and how to trade with Japanese and other cultures, plus worklife balance, recreation activities, how to lose weight and keep fit and healthy.

My website is www.goldsmith-international.com and email is goldor8@iprimus.com.au

Have fun, take time for you, work hard but do not be a workaholic and let work consume you.
Enjoy every day and laugh every day.

Lined up in five teams of eight battlers each, it is a race to choose the team leader who has taken a bite of the wasabi loaded nori roll and can hold it their mouth for five minutes.

As the five leaders consume their nori roll slowly, the teams have to choose who has taken the one and only nori roll with a half teaspoon of wasabi concealed inside.

The person with the wasabi loaded nori roll, whose mouth is probably ...

Hi I am Roggi the OZ terrier dog and meet my new friend Kiko the Japanese frog. I want to tell you about the great adventure we had when we met a two headed green monster.

Walking for a long way and sniffing nearly every tree (if I am allowed) is one of my greatest pleasures and I really enjoy long walks with Carole and Serge. However what I like best is going on an adventure with my new friend Kiko who is a little green Japanese frog, and is now in OZ land for a holiday.

With the rate of marriages down and the divorce rate rising in Japan, some Japanese women are deciding that is may be better to buy a designer bag than become Mr Susuki’s wife. For some Japanese ladies , is the life of being married to a salary man who devotes all his time to his company, coming to an end?

The National Institute of Population and Social Security, Ministry of Health and Welfare (Jinko tokei shiryoshu - latest demographic statistics, 1999) revealed, that the Japanese ...

Japan must end the whaling now, before it is too late. I am writing this for the beautiful mammals of the sea, whales, who cannot speak for themselves. For the whales that are being slaughtered by Japanese Whalers supposedly in the cause of research science. These beautiful mammals of the sea must be left alone to swim in the oceans that are their homes. We must do everything that we can to stop the senseless slaughter before it is too late or there will be no more whales.

Karoshi and increasing mental health issues in Japan are emerging occupational safety and health (OSH) issues that the Japanese Government, employers and employees themselves need to tackle urgently.
The Japanese Ministry of Labour statistics reveal that fatalities from occupational accidents have dropped from 5,552 in 1971 to 1,472 in 2006. However in the period 2005 and 2006, the number of compensated cases for Karoshi (death from overwork) and overwork-related diseases increased by 7.6 per ...

The constant striving for success throughout one’s life may be one of the reasons for the high rate of suicide amongst middle aged older men in Japan. A Japanese woman, I met recently on a train, shared with me her thoughts on the cultural pressure on Japanese people to perform and succeed all their life and never experience failure. She felt that this could be a contributing reason to suicide in Japanese men.

She advised that from early childhood, Japanese people strive to attend ...

Doing Business in Sushi Land (Japan) and Wombat Land (Australia) is very different.
Here are some tips to help you along the way:
Shareholder Meetings: Wombat Land - if you are a share holder, DO go along to the Shareholder meeting (you will get an invitation to attend). If you do not like what the company is doing or if you think that the company board is paying their directors or Chief Executive Officer too much, stand up when you are asked to comment and say what you think. Really voice ...

How did I find out about the Mazda Museum? - When I was staying at the very friendly Hiroshima Youth Hostel, a couple of years ago, I saw a note on the local attractions board about the Mazda Museum located in Hiroshima. That really got me very excited as I ...
